Introduction/Mission -

The Outreach Committee promotes stakeholder awareness of Venice community issues and participation in Venice Neighborhood Council activities, organizes quarterly Stakeholder meetings and special events, and performs outreach to Stakeholders.

Welcome to the Outreach Committee!

We’re a dynamic, diverse team that usually meets monthly to brainstorm creative ways to connect with our Venice community. The past several months brought many opportunities to engage with stakeholders of all ages in a variety of scenarios. The Outreach Team has been out and about representing the Venice Neighborhood Council at many events across Venice and virtually hosted town halls including:

July is here and the Outreach Team is meeting on Tuesday, July 14th at 4:00pm on Zoom for a special meeting to discuss a variety of motions needed to activate tabling outreach now that the fiscal year has just started. All Stakeholders are invited! Come learn more about the Venice Neighborhood Council and share your ideas to help us engage effectively in our beloved Venice neighborhoods.

Outreach Officer Application

Agenda Requests

The Outreach Committee conducts its business by reviewing and prioritizing agenda requests for Board action (generally either in the form of a motion or letter) or announcements submitted by stakeholders, governmental entities and other interested individuals and organizations. Outreach Committee Committee has the discretion to postpone a request, refer it to a specific committee for review and recommendation, treat it as an announcement or consider and resolve it as a non-Board administrative matter.
