🔹LA CITY CLERK EXTENDS IN-PERSON VOTING HOURS.

🔹Vote In-Person on Sunday, March 26th at Oakwood Recreation Center.

🔹Vote-by-Mail Ballot Application deadline is Tuesday, March 7th.

The Los Angeles City Clerk has officially granted the Venice Neighborhood Council’s request to extend in-person voting for an additional two hours on Sunday March 26, 2023. The polls at the Oakwood Recreation Center will now be open from 10am-6pm. Stakeholders will need to bring qualifying documents but will not need to pre-register.

The VNC has traditionally seen large turnouts at previous in-person elections, and a full eight hours should help ensure that Venice Stakeholders will have the opportunity to vote. Also, the City has removed the requirements for proof of COVID vaccine or negative test.

Of course, those Stakeholders who have registered to vote-by-mail may still mail in their ballot (postmark 3/25/23) or drop off their completed ballot in-person during polling hours. Those Stakeholders who wish to vote-by-mail are reminded that they MUST submit a Ballot application to the City Clerk before the end of the day on Tuesday, March 7th.

Full VNC Elections information — including Vote-by-mail instructions, events, and deadlines — are available at the venicenc.org/elections webpage.
