Every September, members of LA’s 99 Neighborhood Councils gather for a day of networking and education with fellow City leaders.
This Saturday September 26th, the tradition continues with the first-ever virtual Congress of Neighborhoods!
This year’s theme is “Rising Together Through Challenging Times.”
Opening session takes place from 9:00am - 12noon, and features headline speakers Mayor Eric Garcetti; Neighborhood Empowerment GM Raquel Beltrán; and City Clerk Holly Wolcott.
During that session, you’ll also hear previews for each of the breakout networking sessions to follow, which run until 1:30pm, on topics like the City budget, NC outreach during a pandemic, sustainability, and homelessness. At these breakout sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and hear from panels of NC members and City staffers sharing their experience in each field.
The NC Congress is open to everyone, but you must RSVP to attend. Learn more and sign up now at: http://NCcongressLA.com.
