VNC Open Seats
Posted on 11/30/2025We have 2 open seats. Communications Chair (board member) and Land Use & Planning (committee member). The deadline to apply for both is December 11th at 5PM.
The Communications Chair is responsible for disseminating information to Venice Stakeholders. Specifically, (1) oversee the development, maintenance and updating of the VNC website; (2) produce and distribute email announcements; (3) maintain and update the stakeholder database while ensuring its confidentiality; (4) manage AV and electronic equipment/supplies for meetings; and (5) schedule/start virtual meetings. Familiarity with websites, email management, A/V equipment, and Zoom is important.
LUPC Committee members should be familiar with the basics of land use, planning, and development.

Please plan to participate in the Great Shakeout Drill ("Drop, Cover and Hold On") on October 16th at 10:16 AM. You can prepare by signing up for earthquake warnings: https://www.shakealert.org. Get further prepared by updating or creating your disaster plan and kit.
