The Venice Neighborhood Council Homelessness Committee is hosting a Community Meeting on Homelessness & Housing with St. Josephs Center on Monday, February 23rd at 6:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to get to know your Venice and SPA5 Homelessness service provider.
This meeting is intended to bring together Venice neighbors and leaders to discuss Homelessness & Housing in Venice. The event will include remarks and public Q&A with Dr. Ryan Smith, the president and CEO of St. Josephs. The event will also include representatives from CD-11 and the LA County Homelessness Liaison, Jonah Glickman.
The meeting will take place on Monday, February 23rd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Penmar Park Recreation Center ASC Room (1341 Lake Street, Venice CA). The VNC encourages interested stakeholders to come to the meeting with neighbors, friends, and questions.

Join us Tuesday, January 20th at 6:30 pm for our next Venice Neighborhood Council Board of Officers meeting.
We will be discussing topics such as the CD-11 Family Reunification Project, the Sepulvida Transit Corridor Project, the Venice Bikeway Network Survey Questionnaire, and more.

The VNC’s Land Use & Planning Committee (LUPC) has an open seat, and we’re looking for a community member who wants to help shape how Venice grows and changes.
LUPC reviews major development proposals, land-use policy issues, and planning decisions that affect everyday quality of life—housing, traffic/parking, public space, neighborhood character, and more. LUPC Committee members should be familiar with the basics of land use, planning, and development.
