The Friends of the Venice Library are hosting their

BIGGEST BOOK SALE

of the season

THIS coming Saturday, March 15th

9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

in the Jon David Waldron Community Room

and the Lobby of our

Venice-Abbot Kinney Memorial Library

Brnch libraries such as our Venice Library are currently faced with the dilemma of trying to maintain existing services and resources in light of increasing City and State cutbacks and budgetary reductions.

Proceeds of the Friends’ Book Sales help to purchase needed books, DVDs, materials, and equipment not covered by the Library’s General Fund. The Friends also assist with the funding of various children, young adult, and adult programs that the Library hosts throughout the year at the Library free of charge. Additionally, the Friends provide funds to enhance the physical facilities of the Library also not covered by the General Fund.
