VENICE SK8PARK

Perhaps you all don't know about this, so I'm going to put it on blast. We are the Venice Surf and Skateboard Association. We have lobbied for 6 years for a world class skatepark (since the demolition of the beloved pavilion). After overcoming many obstructions, the sk8park construction will begin in May 2007! Venice has been a breeding ground for world class skateboarders and with the destruction of the pavilion, and a lack of sk8 terrain, the talent level declined rapidly.
