Resignation of 2006/2007 Outreach Officer

Hi DeDe, Madame President,

I am writing to officially resign from my roles as the Venice Neighborhood Council Government Relations Officer and newly elected Community Outreach Officer. Recent employment opportunities require me to leave Venice for a long stretch of time, making it impossible for me to uphold my duties. I have enjoyed serving on the Venice Neighborhood Council this past year and working with the other board members. I do plan to return eventually and will likely get involved again at that time.

Please accept my resignation and alert the other board members of my decision. Unfortunately, my new job requires me to leave the country on Friday and I will not be able to attend the next board of officers meeting to say goodbye in person.

I wish you and everyone the best in the upcoming year. I think you have a great team that is dedicated to helping Venice through the issues facing our community and I look forward to receiving VNC updates.
