This meeting is being called to address and present to the Board of Officers of the Venice Neighborhood Council recommendations regarding a requested letter of support and endorsement for a Venice Beach Concert Series as proposed by Michael (Micky) Schuman.

6:05 Motion: The Arts Committee/Oceanfront Walk Committee recommend to the Venice Neighborhood Council Board of Officers the approval of a letter of support for the Venice beach Concert Series as proposed by Michael (Micky) Schuman.

6:05 – 6:15 presentation of Venice Beach Concert Series proposal by Michael (Micky) Schuman

6:15 – 7:00 questions and public comment by stakeholders

7:00 – 7:20 questions and discussion by members of the Arts Committee and Oceanfront Walk Committee

7:20 – 7:30 vote

7:30 (promptly) adjourn

The greater issue of local self-determination of Venice Beach events will be addressed at future meetings and should not be a subject for discussion at this meeting.
