Here is the information on FOVL’s used book sale on the 8th I mentioned at the VNC meeting last week.

Hundreds of books will be available to purchase — fiction, nonfiction, art, history, cooking, sports, self-help, and books for children. CDs, videos and DVDs will also be on sale. For the holiday shopper, quality books, suitable for gifts will available at special prices.

The sale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Venice-Abbot Kinney Memorial Library, 501 S. Venice Boulevard.

We need volunteer to sort books on Friday afternoon, we start around 12:30; need people to help set up for the sale on Saturday at 8 a.m until 9 a.m. and again at 2:45 p.m. to help put books back in boxes for storage. If anyone has a pickup that we can use to transport books Friday morning from our storage unit, which is just down the street in the storage place on So. Venice, that would be wonderful.
