The August 13 meeting of the Administrative Committee will assemble an agenda from the following list of requests received in time for the August 21 VNC Board. Neither the merits nor the validity of any item will be discussed. Items beyond the scope of VNC may be returned to sender and requesters may ask the VNC Board to reconsider during Public Comment sessions. Stakeholders who wish to ensure the inclusion of items, to monitor, or to ask for extended periods of time for presentations are encouraged to attend.

Community Beautification Grant Workshop

The CD 11 Community Beautification Grant Workshop training will be held at the Venice Library at 6PM on September 5th.
Please forward this information to groups who might be interested in applying for up to $10,000 in beautification grant money.

1st Fridays on Abbot Kinney

The merchants of Abbot Kinney and the Venice Neighborhood Council are proud to announce the inaugural "1st Fridays on Abbot Kinney" event. Beginning on June 1, 2007, and continuing on the 1st Friday of every month through November, participating Abbot Kinney businesses will be open until 10pm. The late summer nights will feature Abbot Kinney's typical fabulous finds with the added addition of each merchant's respective Venetian desires; drinks, snacks, entertainment, discounts and specials.
