1. Additional March Board Meeting (Mar 29)

The Chair of the Bylaws Committee asked the GRVNC Board 
at tonights meeting for an additional meeting to 
consider the results of the Bylaws Committee's work on 
amending the GRVNC Bylaws.  

The Board must finalize its Bylaws in preparation
for submitting election procedures to DONE 140 
days before the upcoming September 2006 Board 
of Officers election.

The draft amended Bylaws will be posted to
http://www.grvnc.org/Bylaws as soon as they are available
for review.

The Board was also asked to review the upcoming 912 Commission
recommendations on the Neighborhood Council System before
the City Council's Education and Neighborhoods Committee meets
April 11.

Both of these items are likely to be addressed at the
Board of Officers meeting scheduled for March 29.

The GRVNC Executive Committee will be meeting on 
Saturday, March 25, at 9am at the Rose Cafe to
finalize the agenda for the March 29th Board
of Officers Meeting.

2. GRVNC Ocean Front Walk Committee Meeting (Apr 7)

The next meeting of the Ocean Front Walk committee will
be held April 7 from 8am to 9:30am at the Oakwood Rec 
Center, 767 California Ave.

The new sections of LAMC Section 42.15 will take 
effect on Saturday March 25. LAPD will be enforcing
 the new ordinance beginning on that date.

3. Overnight Parking District Committee Established

The GRVNC Board has approved the appointment of 
Georgann Abraham and Stewart Oscars as the co-chairs
of a committee dedicated to addressing issues
associated with the LA City Overnight Parking District
Ordinance as it applies to Venice.
