1. Continuance requested for MTA/RAD proposal at Oct 27 Planning Commission Meeting
At last nights GRVNC Board meeting Bill Christopher, RAD's representative, indicated that they would ask the Planning Commission
to consider the issue at a later Planning Commission meeting, rather then the meeting tomorrow in Van Nuys. I DO NOT have any
official information to this effect, but I was asked to make the public aware that this is a possibility. You should contact
the planning administrator, Jon Foreman at (213) 978-1171, for more information. The agenda still lists consideration of the RAD/MTA
project as agenda item 9 here:

Please use your own judgment when deciding whether or not to attend the planning meeting tomorrow. As an agendized item you must be
given a chance to speak on the topic whether or not the Commission's final decision is delayed.

3. Call for Volunteers
The board urgently needs volunteers for the following positions:
GRVNC Meetings: (contact secretary@grvnc.org)
* Public Address System -- help setup the audio system at GRVNC Board Meetings
* Time Keeper -- keep time for speakers during public comment
Outreach: (contact communications@grvnc.org)
* Data Entry -- assist with entry of stakeholder contact information into the GRVNC database
* Public Notices -- assist district reps put up official GRVNC meeting notices at notification locations

3. Next Regular Board Meeting (Nov 15)
The GRVNC Board of Officers meetings are scheduled for the Third Tuesday of the month.
The next Regular Board Meeting is:
Where: Westminster Avenue Elementary School, 1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd (Auditorium)
When: Thursday, November 15, 2005 at 7:00 PM
If you would like the Executive Committee to bring your interest or problem to the board,
please bring a written copy of your request with an explanation of why it is important to the
Executive Committee Meeting November 3 (see above).
