REMINDER: Next GRVNC Election Registration Event, Thursday, August 18!

Congratulations AGAIN Venice!

We registered TEN new candidates last Thursday, bringing the total to 26 candidates for 21 Board seats. So far only the Board seats for District 1 and District 3 remain without a candidate. Over 50 new stakeholders registered as well. Check out http://www.grvnc.org/NewSite/Election2005/2005Candidates_001.htm for Candidate names and photos - all candidate statements will be on the web August 24th!

(Please note: YOU DO NOT NEED TO PRE-REGISTER AS A STAKEHLOLDER IF YOU PLAN TO SHOW UP AT THE POLLS IN SEPTEMBER! JUST BRING A VALID ID WITH YOU AND VOTE!)

You have TWO more chances to register as a candidate, or register to cast a Vote-by-mail ballot. YOU MUST APPEAR IN PERSON AT ONE OF THE TWO REMAINING OUTREACH EVENTS BETWEEN NOW AND AUGUST 21ST. Your next opportunity is this Thursday, August 18.
