GRVNC Election Town Hall Meeting #2
Thursday, May 19
6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Westminster Elementary School
1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
Join the 60 Venice stakeholders that
came to the first meeting and voted to
recommend to BONC that:
* The election will be held on two days,
September 10/11, 2005
* The election will be by printed ballot
with on-site voting.
* Vote-by-mail will also be permitted.
* The League of Women Voters will administer
the election, if available.
* The Final Decision Maker will be
JAMS, an organization of retired judges.
(also subject to availability)
Topics for the May 19 meeting #2 include:
* Choosing the types of voter verifcation !
* Drafting an outreach plan !
* Establishing the election timeline !
* Establishing the election committee !
The following meeting will be on June 2.
