Venice Neighborhood Council

Labyrinth at the Pier (12/22-12/28)

Posted on 12/21/18

Venice Neighborhood Council

What:   Labyrinth designed and installed by the inspiring Geobender, Andreas Hoeningschmid, his extraordinary crew, and the Venice Pier Project. The pattern itself is temporary and totally non-toxic, washable, intricate, but accessible to all….does that sound dull?  It is not!
Why:  To celebrate the winter solstice (which is December 22nd) and the extraordinary king tides and to simply enjoy the time of year; the pattern and rhythm of our lives.
Where:   At the terminus (far end) of the Venice Fishing Pier which is at Washington Blvd. and Ocean Front Walk.  Plenty of (rather expensive) parking or better, you can scooter or walk to the pier and then, hoof it to the terminus.
When:  From 10:00 AM on December 22nd until RAP removes it on the morning of December 28, 2018.
