JPI Inspections and Signoffs Suspended

All inspections and signoffs for JPI project have been suspended as of today, according to Thomas Scarin, senior building inspector, commercial department division, Los Angeles Building and Safety.

Inspector Scarin issued the Order to Comply 1 November and JPI was given until 8 November to comply.

The JPI 298-unit apartment project at Carter, Princeton, and Thatcher has been in violation of the conditions of approval. The compliance order states
