I have a favor to ask of all of you. If you have an open carport with a storage bin above or in front of it, please check to see if you have a lock on it and it is your lock. Also check to see if your stuff is inside. If it is not please email me or call asap 310-822-6352. You see we have a burglar on the peninsula and elsewhere and he is storing stolen stuff in a few storage bins here. I have been following him for almost 3 years. We caught him about a year ago 4 times but empty handed. We also caught him at 1 Ironside we found the storage bin with stolen stuff inside on private property, with his own lock on it but the Watch Commander released him! DON'T ASK! Well, I have found him again and only 1 storage bin. I know he has another somewhere around Lighthouse. It is Thursday night at 8:00 and I will be hopefully catching him tonight with the cops in a trap. I have been out from 9:00 till 5:30am everyday this week trying to get his routine down. That's how I know he has other storage around Lighthouse so everyone check please. He has a ton of stolen stuff hidden. Also tell your neighbors and pass this on. If you see a open carport with storage bins and don't know anyone who lives there get the address and tell me I will check it. He burglarizes everywhere, condos, apts, cars, garages but he only stores his stuff in an open carport bin. He is a very clean cut male hispanic 6"1' -2' black hair brown eyes 175-180 usually on a bike different one everyday (stolen). He is sleeping between buildings down here someplace, that I have not found. He also does his laundry in open easy access machines. If you have been a victim of any type of theft or burglary in the past year of ANYTHING large or small, expensive or cheap PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE call and report it so as we find stolen merchandise he can be charged with it. I know that there is a guitar in the storage I already found. If you have had a guitar stolen call me. We need to catch him going in. He has his own lock on it and we need to link him to it and other bins. 1-310-482-6334. You can call anytime to file a report.

Burglar caught BUT...

It is 3:30 am and I just thought I would give you an update. The burglar like clockwork came back to one of the bins he had his own lock on it. While he was going through it, Myself and some neighbors on Catamaran caught him. The police came and went through the storage bin. They found camera's, Ipod's, cd players, and cases of cd's, clothes, a check to a woman for $35.00 in his wallet with cash and pesos, 3 dozen nike men's tennis shoes, burglary tools, locks, a very expensive gibson electric guitar among other things. He had no ID They were going to let him go BECAUSE THERE WERE NOT ANY OF THESE ITEMS REPORTED STOLEN AND HE SAID THEY WERE ALL HIS. He gave a name of Rodriguez. The 5th time and a different name as usual. I demanded to talk to the watch commander and said you have to find out who is. Call the girl who's check was in his wallet. He finally after 2 hours agreed to take him in on the check for now. BUT he will be let go and back to steal all of our stuff, sleep on our property, use any washer and dryer he can get to and shower were he wants. He is now on a brown expensive bike sorta like a low rider with shocks in back. We could not find it anywhere.
This is why anyone who is a victim file a police report no matter what they steal. Because they can't link him to stolen property they can't hold him. Again he is 6"1'-2, 175- 180lbs, black hair, brown eyes very clean cut, joe college looking. Keep your eyes open and call the police if you see him stealing. I am very upset they will be releasing him in a few hours. He will be back because his stuff is still in the bin. He will move to another street and continue his pattern. 3 years and he is still around. So much for sitting behind a trash can in the bushes for 5 nights.
