Triangle Gets the Spiffies

Sidewalks are getting revamped and trees are being trimmed near the orange flags and yellow tape. Oxford Avenue is the first to get the update. There also has been some tree trimming intermittently throughout Triangle but mainly on Oxford. Triangle is starting to show the changes.

The first stage is removing the bad sidewalk, then removing the tree roots, preparing the walk, and the last is waiting until enough area is ready to warrant calling for the cement truck.

The sidewalk replacement is also incorporating the handicap ramp. This will make the Triangle a handicap friendly neighborhood. For those involved with a wheelchair, electric cart, or walker, the handicap ramps will be a welcome addition.

The Waste Collection Systems Division yard has been the depository for the removed sidewalks and for storing sand and the vehicle equipment needed to accomplish the sidewalks. The
