Friends – the 2007 Other Venice Film Festival is soon, and we want to get you caught up.

You might know that we doubled in size our first three years. It’s been great. We are now a large small festival, and this year we think we have the best selection of films yet. Some entries are pretty amazing.

Film Submissions ends this month.

2006 Filmmaker Grant – Cheshire Project congrats!
Will Halby of the Cheshire Project is presented with the $500 OVFF Filmmaker Grant check towards his next film project. The Cheshire Project is a creative camp for the mentally disabled. Their pirate comedy The Return of the Muskrats screened at the 2006 festival, and their latest project about super heroes, Sky Squad Eagle Eight, is screening at the DGA on Sunset Bl. on Sun, Jan 28th.
