Ocean Front Walk Committee Meeting Minutes Extra Space Storage (Community Room) 658 Venice Blvd., Venice, 90291 Wednesday, August 11, 2010, 10:00 AM Please note that since this is the first meeting of the OFW Committee , we will be constituting the voting membership of the committee and setting a provisional agenda for our next meeting. We cannot vote on or decide any issues without a fully constituted committee. 1. Call to Order and Roll Call (10:05 AM) Present: Ivonne Guzman, Chair; Ira Koslow 2. Announcements & Public Comment on items not on the Agenda (15 min, no more than 2 minutes per person) None 6. Old Business None 7. New Business: A. Constitution of voting membership of OFW Committee. Possible categories: Merchant, resident, artist/musician, artist/vendor, free speech advocate. Categories approved; one representative for each category, one voter per category Merchant: Barbara Duffy Resident: Gail Rogers Artist/musician: Matt Dowd Artist/vendor: Amaya Mattei Free Speech Advocate: Therese Dietlin B. Take applications for committee membership. Done, will continue to take applications until the next meeting, August 25th 2010. C. Set meeting schedule. The next meeting will be held at 10:00 AM, August 25th, Extra Space Storage (Community Room) 658 Venice Blvd., Venice, 90291. After that, meetings will be held every 4th Wednesday of the month at the listed time at the above location. 8. Review and discussion of OFW Ordinance procedures - needs Parks & Recs. consent. B. Review and discussion of OFW Ordinance - needs judicial change. C. Public & committee suggestions. D.
