The Polls open at 10am and close at 4pm. Note: Parking at the Oakwood Rec Center is limited – please consider walking or biking or taking Big Blue Bus #2 to the polls! Because lines may form, please plan accordingly.
The LA City Clerk is running the election and has set out the rules and procedures governing the election. see: City Clerk Election Procedures, for the details. The rules state (in part):
You can vote in the election if you live, work, own property, or have a verifiable interest in Venice.
see: Venice Map and Required ID to see if you are eligible to vote and have the ID required to verify your eligibility and basis for voting.
They also state:“Stakeholders must affirm their stakeholder status by completing a Stakeholder Registration Form.” The City Clerk will require every voter to verify their eligibility before giving them a ballot – so DON’T FORGET YOUR ID!
