Masters in the Chapel is pleased to present an organ concert by Elizabeth Lenti at First Lutheran Church next Saturday, March 20 from 7 – 8 PM. (See http://venicenc.org/files/LentiOrganSm.jpg for more details.) This concert is yours to enjoy absolutely FREE thanks to funding from the Venice Neighborhood Council’s Community Improvement Project and the generosity of individual donors.

First Lutheran is located at 815 Venice Blvd, 2 blocks west of Lincoln. There is ample parking surrounding the church as well as on the grounds. Doors will open at 6:45.

THE VNC GREEN FILM SERIES CONTINUES SUNDAY MARCH 21 AT 7PM

The Venice Neighborhood Council and the Electric Lodge are proud to present the “Venice Green Film Series,” a three-part Sunday evening series examining critical environmental issues from the local to the global.

The purpose of the series is to educate and engage the community in an entertaining and meaningful way on ecological concerns. Each event will focus on a particular theme and promote constructive ways for individuals to make more sustainable choices.

The Outreach Committee will meet to make sure that plans are in place for the Board Elections Candidate Forum to be held on April 8th. This is not a formal meeting of the Outreach Committee – we’ll be discussing operational details about the event – but everyone is welcome to attend the meeting.

The meeting will start at 7pm in the Community Room at Extra Space Storage, 658 South Venice Blvd.
