A Free Community Sing-along of Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Pirates of Penzance” will be presented on Sunday, September 6, 2009. The fun begins at 5pm at Congregation Mishkon Tephilo 206 Main Street, Venice (between Rose and Marine).

This event is open to everyone and everyone is in the chorus!

Meeting Minutes Notice

The Neighborhood Committee Meets on the first Monday morning of each month at Vera Davis McClendon Community Center, 610 California Avenue, in Venice.

The Commitee is composed of stakeholders representatives from the various unique neighborhoods in Venice. Our main areas of concern are the Community Improvement Fund program; developing an Emergency Preparedness and Awareness Plan; and serving as the eyes and ears on the Venice Community on issues of concern. Interested stakeholders from all Venice Neighborhoods are invited. More more information: VP&VeniceNC.org

A workshop on the application and awards process for Community Beautification Grants will be held to answer questions of potential applicants in Venice.
