(event) Grand Canal Restoration Community Meeting Start: 6:00 pm End: 8:00 pm Body: You are invited to attend a community meeting on the Grand Canal Restoration Project on Wednesday, December 5 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Council District 11 Westchester Field Office, 7166 W. Manchester Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90045 The City of LA proposes to restore the Grand Canal between Washington Boulevard and Ballona Lagoon (just south of Hurricane Street - a total length of about 2,000 feet) with the purpose of improving the natural habitat value of the water and lands of the canal while providing appropriate flood protection, tidal flushing and public access.
