3. Lincoln Boulevard and Maxella Avenue Project Open House (Dec 5)

DEVELOPMENT OPEN HOUSE - CHANGE OF DATE - Maxella/Lincoln

The Olson Company would like to invite interested community members to an
open house featuring our proposed mixed-use project to be located in the
Del Rey community at Lincoln Boulevard and Maxella Avenue. Currently on
this site there are several closed restaurant uses. This proposal will
breath life into this community again encouraging a pedestrian friendly
atmosphere. The project has received the support of the Del Rey
Neighborhood Council and now we would like to share the concept with the
adjacent Venice community.

We invite you to join us at the Venice Boys and Girls Club located at 2232
Lincoln Boulevard on MONDAY, DECEMBER 5TH from 6-8pm to see our project and
share your thoughts and comments with us.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Kristen Lonner at
(323)466-3445 or kristen@cerrell.com.

4. Los Angeles Conservation Corps on Rose Avenue (Dec 15+)

Jamie Cantor Ginsburg has, with the assistance of Mark Antonio Grant at
Bill Rosendahl's Office, arranged for the Los Angeles Conservation Corps - a
nonprofit that helps young people develop by participating in environmental
projects - to come and help clean up Rose Avenue twice a month. Each group
of kids will be cleaning the area every other Wednesday; with a different
group of workers coming every 8 weeks.

Their responsibilities will include sweeping the sidewalks, getting rid of
weeds, addressing graffiti, and over all maintenance of the area.
They will work for five hours, from 8:00am until 1:00pm.

The next clean-up day will be December 15th, after which a small party will
be organized at Rosendahl's office to thank them. Volunteers?

Please take a moment to thank these young volunteers if you see them helping
out on Rose Ave.

Please put up and pass on the flier here:

VILLARAIGOSA, ROSENDAHL AND ARSAC ANNOUNCE LAX SETTLEMENT

City Councilman Bill Rosendahl will join Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa,
ARSAC, and other local elected officials on Thursday, December 1 to
announce the settlement of lawsuits against the LAX Master Plan. The
settlement agreement will allow Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) to
modernize LAX while resolving concerns about noise, traffic, pollution,
and regional aviation.

“This is a great day for LAX, for airport neighbors and for regional
aviation,” said Rosendahl, whose district encompasses LAX. “After years
of controversy, we can now move forward on modernizing and securing LAX
while directing growth and increased air traffic to the rest of the region.”
