GRVNC 2005 Election -- Preliminary results

Dear Venice Stakeholders,

The Independent Election Administrator (IEA) has announced the
*preliminary* results from the GRVNC 2005 Election held last weekend
(see attached) and the final canvas will be available shortly after the
deadline for verifying provisional ballots.   Thank you all for coming
out to vote and for supporting your community by becoming involved.  We
had a remarkable turn out with 1189 ballots (including vote-by-mail
ballots) cast .

Both the Preliminary Results and the Final Canvas will be posted to the
GRVNC web site as they become available.  Please go to  www.grvnc.org 
and click on '2005 Election' for more details.
