My fingers accidentally typed the wrong numbers for one of the "additional registration events" and the date of the election weekend.  I'm so sorry and many thanks to all of you observant readers who pointed out my error.  Please refer to the web site for the correct dates, a corrected email is below.  DeDe

2005 Election Registration Event!

Come meet your neighbors and register to become a candidate or vote in the Venice Neighborhood Council 2005 election.  Everyone is welcome and anyone considering becoming a candidate is especially encouraged to attend.  Candidates have less then a month to register in order to be placed on the printed ballot.

WHEN:  Monday, July 25,  6 to 9 pm

WHERE:  Westminster Elementary School
1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
(parking available at the school)

WHAT:

* Candidate registration
* Voter registration
* Vote-by-mail registration
* Volunteer Sign up

Additional registration events: August 11, 18(!) & 21

GRVNC 2005 Election: Sept 10 and 11(!), Venice High, 10am to 5pm
