Venice Election

Dear Venice Community,

The Board of Neighborhood Commissioners (BONC) has approved the 2005
GRVNC election procedures and as chair of the volunteer election
committee (VEC) I'd like to invite all Venice stakeholders to
participate as volunteers, candidates and voters. Please help us get the
word out too all corners of our community. All election related
information will be posted as it becomes available at:

This web site currently contains the following critical information:

GRVNC 2005 Election Weekend
SEPTEMBER 10 & 11 from 10am to 5pm
Venice High School - 13000 Venice Blvd.
(parking available at the school)

To provide a venue for learning more about the  candidates running
in the election, a Candidate Forum will be held at Venice High School on
Wednesday September 7 from 6-9 pm.


IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER!

If you want to register as a candidate, or if you want to register to
cast a Vote-by-mail ballot, YOU MUST APPEAR IN PERSON AT ONE OF THE
FOLLOWING OUTREACH EVENTS:

WHEN:
Monday, July 25 - 6 to 9pm
Thursday, August 11 - 6 to 9pm
Thursday, August 18 - 6 to 9pm
Sunday, August 21 - 10am to 1pm

Westminster Elementary School
1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
Venice, CA 90291
