1. SPECIAL ELECTION MEETING

Grass Roots Venice Neighborhood Council bylaws provide
for a special election to be held to allow Venice 
stakeholders to confirm or replace a board member 
selected by the board to fill a vacant seat. 

Four appointments were made by the GRVNC board before
the loss of quorum in the fall of 2004:

Francisco Letelier (Government Relations Officer), 
Don Geagan (at-large), 
Kristin Weirick (at-large), 
Inge Mueller (District 2 Representative).

The Rules and Elections Committee of the neighborhood
council is now holding a special election open to all 
Venice stakeholders to confirm or replace (by write 
in) these appointments.  It is hoped that the LA Board
of Neighborhood Commissioners, at the hearing on
tuesday, will then recognize GRVNC's ability to 
function.

5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The votes will be counted 
immediately after the election.
